Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about installing, using, and troubleshooting your Skid Sync system
Installation & Setup
Mount the receiver box anywhere near your hydraulic solenoids using the included hardware. Plug the harness into your solenoid connector — no wiring into the machine is required. Once connected, flip the switch and it's ready to use.
Yes. The system outputs standard 12V DC signals compatible with all major solenoid types including Hydraforce, Parker, Sun, and others.
No. Installation typically takes 5–10 minutes with basic hand tools. No cutting, crimping, or wiring needed.
Universal Remote Control Box (2–6 Function)
Any machine — skid steers, compact loaders, excavators, tractors, and more. No integration with the host machine is needed. The system mounts to the attachment and runs independently.
It runs off an internal 12V rechargeable battery — no connection to the host machine's electrical system needed. The 6,000 mAh battery lasts a week or longer with normal attachment use.
Most users see 100 feet of reliable range depending on site conditions and obstructions.
No. Each unit ships with a remote that is pre-paired and ready to use right out of the box.
Battery, Charging & Maintenance
On a full charge with normal attachment use, the battery lasts up to 40 hours — even in tough conditions.
The receiver includes a waterproof charging port. Use the charger included with the box. The LED indicator turns green when fully charged.
Troubleshooting
Check that the remote's battery is charged or that fresh batteries are installed. If the remote is pre-paired but still not working, power cycle both the transmitter and receiver and allow 5–10 seconds for re-pairing.
The relays are functioning, but the hydraulic flow may be restricted or the solenoid isn't opening fully. Make sure the hydraulic lines are connected correctly and that your solenoids are rated for 12V DC.
