About Skid Sync

Skid Sync™ is a U.S.-based manufacturer of wireless control systems for skid-steer and compact-equipment attachments.
Our mission is simple: replace every wired harness with a tough, plug-and-play wireless solution that operators can trust in any environment.

We build each Skid Sync box to take the abuse of daily job-site use — epoxy-potted, fuse-protected, lithium-powered, and tested to deliver instant response from remote to attachment. Whether you’re running a Harley rake, dozer blade, snowblower, or custom hydraulic attachment, Skid Sync gives you reliable control without the cable clutter.

How It Works

Our system transmits control signals wirelessly between your machine and the attachment using industrial-grade components.

  • Universal design: Works with any brand or attachment type.

  • 4- and 6-function versions: Handle multiple hydraulic functions with momentary outputs.

  • Plug-and-play harnesses: Custom-built for your attachments.

You mount the box, connect the harness, pair the remote, and go to work — no machine wiring required.

Our Story

Skid Sync started with one problem: operators wasting time fixing or swapping damaged attachment harnesses.
We engineered a solution that eliminated wires entirely — combining overhead-crane controller hardware with our own protective circuitry, quick-connects, and epoxy sealing.
Every product we ship is built, tested, and supported by a small team that knows skid-steer attachments inside and out.

Our Promise

We believe in rugged simplicity.
When you unbox a Skid Sync system, you get hardware that’s ready to work, not tinker.
No gimmicks, no complicated installs — just a wireless control system that works as hard as you do.

Brand Note

Skid Sync™ is an independent equipment-technology brand and is not affiliated with Skidmore College or its “SkidSync” student-organization platform.

Brady Wood - CEO / Co-Founder

A smiling man with a beard is sitting behind a bright orange Bobcat skid-steer loader inside a warehouse or workshop with concrete block walls.

Meet Brady! Our Co-Founder & CEO—and the one who came up with the idea for Skid Sync.

After almost 20 years as a field mechanic (and running South Valley Equipment and Tetrad Group), Brady knows the struggles operators face. The “aha!” moment came when he was running an attachment on his Bobcat—the harness had to run up the boom, through the cab glass, and nearly ripped off more than once. That was the breaking point. The options online weren’t cutting it, so he set out to build something that actually works.

Now, Skid Sync is giving operators the solutions they should’ve had years ago. When he’s not working, you’ll usually find Brady building new projects or out in his side-by-side.

Joel Mena - Lead Product Engineer / Co-Founder

Meet Joel! Our Lead Product Engineer and the brains behind making sure Skid Sync products actually work in the real world.

He started out studying diesel mechanics, worked with us at South Valley Equipment, and now he’s building the future of equipment control with us at Skid Sync.

When he’s not engineering, you’ll find him fishing, gardening, or hanging out with his little girl. For Joel, this is all about new beginnings—and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on the ride.

Michael Dorrity - CTO / Co-Founder

Meet Mike! Our Co-Founder & CTO—and the guy who’s been turning shop-floor frustrations into real-world solutions.

Before Skid Sync, Mike was a field mechanic who kept running into the same problem: customers needed attachment control solutions, but the options out there were either junk or way too expensive. That’s when the idea hit—why not build something better?

Now he’s making sure operators everywhere can plug in, power up, and get the job done without the headaches. When he’s not working on Skid Sync, you’ll probably find him wrenching on or riding motorcycles.

Why We Do It
We got tired of watching operators fight with wiring harnesses that never fit or failed after a week. Skid Sync started in a Utah garage to fix that problem. Every box we ship is built by the same people who use them — because we know what it’s like when gear doesn’t work.
