The Skid Sync Universal Box is a battery-powered wireless remote control system for skid steer attachments. It controls hydraulic solenoid coils on your attachment via a plug-and-play harness — no machine wiring required.

   Charge the Box

   • Connect the included laptop-style charger to the box and plug into a wall outlet.
   • On first use, charge until the light on the charger turns green before proceeding.
   • For regular use, charge weekly to maintain battery life.
   • Remove the box from the machine to charge it.

   Connect Harness to Attachment

   • Plug the relay output connectors into the solenoid coils on your attachment.
   • Most attachments have 2–6 solenoid valves controlling different functions (open/close, extend/retract, etc.).
   • Polarity does not matter for most solenoid coils — either orientation works.

   Connect Harness to Box

   • Plug the harness connector into the Skid Sync control box.
   • Ensure the connection is secure.

   Power On and Test

   • Turn on the box using the power switch. The LED should illuminate.
   • The remote ships pre-paired and ready to use. To re-pair, press the green button on the remote while the box is powered on.
   • Start your machine's hydraulic system.
   • Press each remote button — you should hear the relays clicking inside the box. Verify each function activates correctly at the attachment.

   Swap Connections if Needed

   • If a button activates the wrong function (e.g., Red/Up closes instead of opens), swap those coil connectors on the attachment and re-test.
   • No programming needed — just plug and play.

   Mount the Box

   • Place the control box on any metal surface on your attachment or machine.
   • The built-in magnets will hold it securely in place.
   • Choose a protected location away from hydraulic lines and moving parts.

The Skid Sync Bobcat Box reads your machine's joystick auxiliary inputs and transmits them wirelessly to the receiver on your attachment. The receiver drives your solenoid coils through the included harness. No machine wiring modification required — the transmitter plugs directly into the 7-pin connector on the back of the machine.

   Plug the Transmitter Into the Machine

   • Locate the 7-pin connector on the back of your Bobcat.
   • Plug the Bobcat Box transmitter into that connector.
   • The transmitter powers on and off with the machine key — no power switch.

   Connect the Harness to the Attachment Coils

   • Plug the harness connector leads into the solenoid coils on your attachment.
   • Each lead controls one function (open, close, tilt, rotate, etc.).
   • Polarity does not matter for most solenoid coils — either orientation works.

   Mount the Receiver on the Attachment

   • Place the receiver on any steel surface on the attachment — the built-in magnets hold it securely.
   • Choose a protected location away from hydraulic lines and moving parts.
   • Plug the harness connector into the receiver and ensure it is fully seated.

   Power On and Verify Pairing

   • Turn on the machine and power on the receiver.
   • The receiver LED will blink green while searching for the transmitter.
   • Once paired, the LED will change to solid green — the system is ready.
   • If the LED is solid yellow or red at pairing, charge the receiver before use. See the Troubleshooting Guide if it will not pair.

   Test Each Function

   • Engage your machine's hydraulics and test each joystick auxiliary input.
   • Verify the correct attachment function activates for each input.
   • If a function is wrong (opens instead of closes), swap those two coil connectors on the attachment and re-test.
